The 11th match of the Super50 Cup 2021 will be played between Barbados Pride and Windward Islands at the Coolidge Cricket Ground, Antigua.
Current Form Barbados Pride:
Barbados Pride have lost all three games played so far and currently occupy the 5th position on points table, just ahead of Jamaica Scorpions.

Justin Greaves played a lovely innings of 62 off 81 at the top of the order. Jonathan Carter and Roston Chase too played vital knocks to accumulate 56 runs each in the middle order. Barbados Pride at one points looked on course for setting up a commanding total on the board. However, good bowling coupled with reckless batting approach in the lower middle order by Barbados Pride meant that they could only achieve 253 for 9 in 50 overs. Chasing 253, Evin Lewis provided a wonderful start to the innings and scored 60 runs off just 47 deliveries. This entertaining knock featured 6 massive sixes and set up the game for Trinidad and Tobago Red Force. Jason Mohammed at number 3 played a gem of a knock and scored his maiden century in the tournament to make a match winning 122 off 160 balls. There was a little hiccup in the death overs, but Akeal Hosein in the lower order hit a couple of boundaries to take his team home with 1 over to spare. Barbados Pride lost the match by 5 wickets.
Current Form Windward Islands:
Windward Islands currently stand at the 3rd position on points table with 2 wins in 3 matches played so far.
In their last game against Jamaica Scorpions, Windward Islands won the toss and elected to bat first. Andre Fletcher played a lovely innings of 60 runs at the top of the order. He really set the tone for a big total and Sunil Ambris, Kevin Stoute followed the lead to make 28 and 45 runs respectively. Keron Cottoy in the lower middle order continued his form from the last game and made 64 runs in 47 deliveries. As a result of these phenomenal performances, Windward Islands got to 260 for 8 in 50 overs.
Chasing 260, Jamaica Scorpions lost the plot early on in the innings and lost 4 of their top batters within the 13th over. Jamaica Scorpions looked down and out after the early blows and Windward Island’s bowlers like Larry Edwards and Ryan John capitalized on it very well. Larry Edwards was the top wicket taker with 3 scalps in the game. Andre McCarthy and Fabian Allen fought hard with their innings of 55 and 39 runs respectively but they were not enough as Jamaica Scorpions were bowled out for 168 to lose the match by 92 runs. The 6th match of the Jharkhand Women’s T20 Trophy will be played between Dumka Daisies Women and Ranchi Roses Women at the JSCA Complex International Stadium, Ranchi, Jharkhand.
Current Form Dumka Daisies:
After a dismal outing in their first match of the tournament, Dumka Daisies have won their second match against Dhanbad Daffodils in a low scoring thriller.
Batting first, Dumka Daisies got off to a terrible start as both the openers ran themselves out in a dramatic fashion and left the job to the middle order. Ruma Kumari Mahato impressed with her innings of 33 runs in 51 deliveries and ensured that her team gets to a decent total. However, after her dismissal, there was no real resistance shown by the lower order and Dumka Daisies finished their innings with a total of 85 for 7.
What seemed to be an easy chase half way through the match was made tougher by the bowlers of Dumka Daisies. Anushka Parmer removed Nilam Mehta in the 4th over of the innings while Priya Kumari was dismissed by Devyani Prasad. A quick departure of the opening pair put pressure on the middle order. The real drama happened in the 18th over when 3 of Dhanbad Daffodils batters were dismissed in successive deliveries. Of them, two ran themselves out and the other one was caught. This over changed the course of the game and pointed it in favour of the bowling team. In the end, Dumka Daisies restricted Dhanbad Daffodils for a total of 82 in 20 overs, winning the match by just 3 runs.
Current Form Ranchi Roses:
Ranchi Roses have been in terrific form and have won both their games so far and currently stand at the number 1 position on points table.
In their last match against Jamshedpur Jasmines, Ranchi Roses won the toss and elected to bat first. Ila Khan was dismissed early on in the innings but then the rest was a Ranchi Women show as they smacked the bowlers to all parts of the ground and capitalized on any opportunity or loose ball. Monika Murmu and Durga Kumari Murmu stitched a partnership of 89 runs for the 3rd wicket. They scored 41 and 48 runs respectively to take the team’s total to 130 for 3 in 20 overs.
Chasing 130, Jamshedpur Jasmines lost early wickets and their defensive approach made life tougher for them. At one point, they were 56 for 3 but a lethal spell from Nidhi Buley reduced them to 76 for 7 in no time. Nidhi Buley gave away just 8 runs in her spell and picked up 2 important wickets. Jamshedpur Jasmines were always lagging behind the required run rate and in the end, they finished with 79 for 7 in 20 overs, losing the match by 51 runs.
Let’s have a look at the squads:
Ranchi Roses: Nidhi Buley, Durga Murmu, Anamika Kumari, Israni Soren, Monika Murmu, Ila Khan, Chandmuni Purty, Simran Mansoori, Mousami Pal, Kumari Abha, Heena Anis, Simran Kaur, Sifan Hasnain, Tanvi Ranjana
